Token Distribution

The distribution has been improved compared to the original version. Emissions have been directed for protocol-usage only, while other subjective portions were removed!

The Radial governance token RDL has a fixed supply cap of 100 million tokens.

They are distributed as follows. All vesting is on a per-block basis.

• 5% to participants in the genesis bootstrapping program, who helped get the first NFT. Vested over 1 year.

• 1% to LobsterDAO NFT holders who supported Radial launch. Vested over 1 year.

• 9% DAO treasury to be used for anything. See Ownershipwho owns it. Vested over 1 year.

• 15% to the Radial core team. Vested over 1 year.

• 70% for the multi-year governance incentive program only accessible to vlRDL & RDL/wFTM Vote Locking.

The RDL emissions only goes to those who use the protocol and are aligned with Radial Protocol coordination public good. As such, there is a polynomial curve where a total of 70% of supply is distributed over 20 years with decreasing annual emissions. The rewards accrue to vlRDL and RDL/wFTM Solidly LP lockers in form of RDL - only for their active voting actions.
